Campania approves aid package for Campi Flegrei seismic recovery
The Campania Regional Council has approved a series of economic measures to support the Campi Flegrei area following recent seismic activity and bradyseism.
A total of 3 million euros from the Regional Development Fund for SMEs will be allocated to businesses and commercial activities that suffered material damage. This aid includes a “Bonus continuità” for repairing premises and replacing equipment, compensation for deteriorated goods, and support for acquiring temporary operational spaces.
Additionally, 4.9 million euros will be distributed to municipalities affected by the seismic swarm of July 31. The largest portion, approximately 4.45 million euros, is designated for Pozzuoli, with smaller amounts allocated to Bacoli, Monte di Procida, and Naples based on the number of temporarily displaced residents.
To bolster the region's image, 2 million euros will be invested in a strategic marketing and tourism promotion campaign managed by the Campania Turismo Agency, specifically focusing on the Campi Flegrei territory.
