Campania region earmarks €300,000 for confiscated‑asset community projects

The Campania Regional Administration published a public notice (Decreto Dirigenziale n. 07, 7 March 2025) offering financial contributions to support the management of assets seized by authorities for the 2024 programme. The €300,000 pool can fund proposals up to €25,000 each that aim to reuse confiscated properties for socio‑educational activities, promote active citizenship, and spread awareness of legal‑compliance culture. Eligible applicants are entities that already hold the confiscated assets on behalf of local authorities and must submit a single project plan, which may involve multiple assets, by 23:59 on 5 May 2025 via the designated PEC address. The selection criteria give extra points to projects that include people with disabilities or provide assistance to severely disabled individuals without family support. The initiative targets the cultural, social and economic fabric of the community, encouraging inclusion and the diffusion of the “legal‑property” theme.

The regional decree also provides detailed guidelines, required documentation, and contact information for queries, which remain open until 16 April 2025.
