Since June 2026 Campania has accelerated its programme to turn idle or illicit property into public benefit. In August the state allocated an additional €8.5 million to redevelop the La Balzana former camorra complex into a Campania agro‑food park, adding production facilities, training and research centres and social housing for young families. Together, these actions expand a coordinated strategy to reclaim idle assets, improve public spaces and foster community‑driven economic inclusion across Campania.
