Campo Grande bus corridor enters final construction phase

Construction of the exclusive public transport corridor in Campo Grande is entering a final phase, involving work on Avenida Gunter Hans and Avenida Marechal Deodoro. The project, which connects the Aero Rancho and Bandeirantes terminals, involves an investment of R$ 9.7 million.

Scheduled works for the upcoming weekend include pavement milling to prepare for resurfacing around boarding stations. Subsequent steps will involve road signaling and the installation of passenger shelters. The Municipal Secretariat of Infrastructure and Public Services (Sisep) is overseeing the project, which is expected to be completed by February 2027.

Drivers should expect partial and total traffic closures. On Avenida Gunter Hans, partial blocks will occur near Rua Tabira and Rua Panambi Vera. On Avenida Marechal Deodoro, partial closures are planned near Rua Roney Paini Malheiros and Rua Tenente Antônio João Ribeiro, with a total closure between the Trevo Imbirussu and Rua Tapirapes.
