Campo Grande City Council to honor 85 citizens for 127th anniversary

The Campo Grande City Council will hold a solemn session on August 25 to celebrate the 127th anniversary of the city. The event, held at the Rubens Gil de Camilo Convention Center, will feature the awarding of the Citizen of Campo Grande Title, the Meritorious Citizen Title, and the ‘José Antônio Pereira’ Legislative Merit Medal.

During the ceremony, 85 individuals will be honored for their significant contributions to the city through professional excellence, job creation, or social actions. A special tribute will be paid to photojournalist Roberto Higa for his lifelong dedication to documenting the city's history through photography.
