Campo Grande concludes embroidery course for 20 women

The City Hall of Campo Grande, through the Executive Secretariat for Women (Semu), has concluded a free embroidery course for 20 women from the Bairro Zé Pereira region. The training program focused on teaching embroidery techniques to provide participants with new creative possibilities and opportunities for income generation.

Angélica Fontanari, the Executive Secretary for Women, stated that such training goes beyond teaching a technique, as it aims to help women recognize their potential and develop skills that can be transformed into a source of revenue. The initiative is designed to promote female autonomy and provide a space for social interaction and the exchange of experiences.

Instructor and artisan Zunilda de Freitas noted that the process allowed participants to find their own creative styles, increasing their confidence in production. Participants expressed that the course provided valuable knowledge that can be used for both leisure and professional development.
