Campo Grande celebrates 127 years with 34th Marcha para Jesus
The 34th edition of the Marcha para Jesus took place in Campo Grande as part of the city's 127th-anniversary celebrations. Despite rainfall, religious leaders and faithful participants gathered for a day of prayer, praise, and celebration.
The event began at Praça do Rádio with gospel music performances from various artists and groups, including Banda Destino City and the Irmãos Menonitas Church. Following the initial program, a procession moved along Avenida Afonso Pena toward Parque das Nações Indígenas.
Mayor Adriane Lopes noted the event's tradition within the city's anniversary schedule, while organizer Pastor Gladstone de Amorim, also known as Pastor Dinho, described the march as a moment of unity for different Christian communities to celebrate their faith publicly.
