Campo Grande implements social, infrastructure, and health initiatives
The City of Campo Grande has implemented several municipal initiatives spanning social services, infrastructure, and public health. In social assistance, the city conducted an intersectoral drive for the homeless population and celebrated five years of the SUAS Municipal School, which has trained over 8,000 workers.
Infrastructure efforts include a pothole repair blitz in the Vila Planalto region as part of the 'Vira CG Infraestrutura' program, which involves over R$ 280 million in investments. Additionally, the Municipal Health Secretariat (Sesau) is launching the Campo Grande Public Health School (ESP-CG) to strengthen the Unified Health System (SUS) through continuous professional training and academic partnerships.
Cultural and sustainable development also remain priorities. The city is hosting various free community fairs and art exhibitions over the weekend. Furthermore, local officials participated in national technical meetings to align municipal policies with the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
