Campo Grande launches vocational workshops for women
Various community initiatives in Campo Grande are providing vocational training to promote financial independence and entrepreneurship, particularly among women.
The Executive Secretariat for Women (Semu) is offering a free free-embroidery workshop at Cras Zé Pereira from September 8 to 10. The course covers various stitching techniques, color harmonization, and pattern transfer, aiming to help participants create personalized products for sale.
Additionally, the Community Support Fund (FAC) recently conducted a culinary workshop in the Vespasiano Martins neighborhood. The session, led by Chef Eva Galvão, taught 50 women how to prepare saltenhas and sustainable brigadeiros made from banana peels to encourage low-cost, high-profit food production.
