Vila Popular women complete manicure and pedicure training

The City Hall of Campo Grande, through the Executive Secretariat for Women (Semu), has concluded a manicure and pedicure training course for women in the Vila Popular neighborhood. The three-day program provided practical skills to help residents start new professional activities, return to the workforce, or generate additional income.

By decentralizing the training and bringing it directly into local neighborhoods, the initiative aims to increase accessibility for women who face challenges traveling to other parts of the city due to family or work responsibilities. Angélica Fontanari, the Executive Secretary for Women, stated that this strategy seeks to bring public policies closer to the reality of women's lives, fostering autonomy and economic opportunity.
