A free decoupage workshop will be held this Saturday, August 22, in Campo Grande, Brazil. The event, hosted at the Escola Municipal Professor José de Sousa (Zezão) in the Oliveira II neighborhood, aims to teach participants how to transform used coffee filters into a material that resembles aged leather.

Promoted by the Community Support Fund (FAC), the initiative focuses on repurposing discarded materials for use on items such as glass jars, wooden boxes, and bottles. The goal is to demonstrate the intersection of sustainability and the creative economy to foster new income opportunities.

The workshop is part of the 'Todos em Ação' program, which provides over 300 free municipal services, including legal guidance, medical exams, and employment assistance. Additionally, the FAC will distribute ecological fertilizer and offer an exchange of 100 food baskets for recyclable materials, including metal, glass, and cardboard.
