Campus Polska Przyszłości event features Andrzej Poczobut's planned return to Belarus

The fifth edition of Campus Polska Przyszłości, a multi-day event for young people aged 18–35, is being held at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn. The event, which features panels and workshops, is closely linked to the political circle of Rafał Trzaskowski and the Civic Coalition.

During the event, journalist and activist Andrzej Poczobut announced his intention to return to Belarus in September. Poczobut, a long-time correspondent for Gazeta Wyborcza and an activist for the Union of Poles in Belarus, stated he aims to support the organization and those learning the Polish language. He acknowledged the risks involved, noting that there are “no guarantees” regarding how Belarusian authorities will react to his return, but expressed a desire to expand the space for freedom of speech in the country.
