Can Tho commences construction on major commercial and infrastructure projects
Can Tho has commenced construction on several key infrastructure and real estate projects. A major highlight is the Thien Quan Center, a commercial and luxury apartment complex in Cai Rang Ward. With a total investment of over 1,552 billion VND, the project is being developed by Thien Quan Center Joint Stock Company, part of the Thien Quan Group.
The 39-story building, standing approximately 150 meters tall, is expected to be the tallest building in the Mekong Delta upon its completion in late 2029. The complex will feature five floors of commercial space, including supermarkets and cinemas, and 648 luxury apartments, duplexes, and penthouses. Amenities planned for the site include a swimming pool, gym, spa, and green spaces.
Additionally, the city has broken ground on a 74 billion VND project to construct the Tran Bach Dang bridge and connecting roads. This infrastructure work aims to link the Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy resettlement area with the Cuu Long resettlement area, intended to improve urban planning and reduce traffic congestion on major routes.
