Canada Beyond Division campaign launches in Red Deer

The Canada Beyond Division campaign has launched in Red Deer to advocate for Alberta remaining a province of Canada. Founded by Ayaz Bangash, the grassroots movement aims to encourage citizens to support Canadian unity ahead of an upcoming referendum scheduled for October 19.

The referendum includes 10 questions, most notably whether the Government of Alberta should begin the legal process required by the Canadian Constitution to hold a binding vote on provincial separation. The Canada Beyond Division campaign, a registered third-party advertiser with Elections Alberta, supports constitutional stability and judicial independence. The group is also recommending that voters cast “no” votes on the remaining nine questions in the referendum.

Following its launch at the Red Deer Public Market, the campaign plans to expand its presence through roadside billboards and outreach in Central Alberta, as well as major cities including Calgary and Edmonton.
