Weather alerts issued for Canary Islands and Buenos Aires

Various regions are facing significant weather alerts. In Spain, the Canary Islands are experiencing high temperatures and strong winds. AEMET has issued yellow alerts for coastal phenomena in Gran Canaria and Tenerife, with northeast wind gusts reaching up to 60 km/h. Additionally, the archipelago is expecting calima (Saharan dust) and temperatures potentially reaching 34 degrees Celsius in parts of Gran Canaria. In Granada, yellow alerts have been activated due to heat, storms, and potential hail.

In Argentina, the Servicio Meteorológico Nacional has issued yellow alerts for storms in the Buenos Aires province and the Metropolitan Area of Buenos Aires (AMBA). Forecasts indicate isolated storms with gusts up to 50 km/h, heavy precipitation, and possible hail. Temperatures in the region are expected to fluctuate, with a cooling trend following the storm activity.
