Cannes Yachting Festival announces 2026 Innovation Route Awards winners

The Cannes Yachting Festival has announced the five winners of its second annual Innovation Route Awards 2026. The awards recognize advancements in maritime technology, focusing on areas such as smart mooring, hybrid propulsion, and marine biodiversity.

Among the winners, BlueNav received the award for best navigation equipment with its ‘Smart Mooring’ solution. This technology allows boat owners to manage mooring positions via an application, utilizing GPS Precision+ to simplify maneuvers. Suzuki Marine won the sustainable product category for its EDGE ECOAT technology, an anodization process designed to protect outboard motor components from corrosion and extend their lifespan.
