Cannes Yachting Festival developments

The Cannes Yachting Festival has transitioned from announcing its 2026 lineup to concluding its seasonal activities. The upcoming edition, scheduled for September 8–13 at the Vieux Port and Port Canto, is set to feature over 700 yachts up to 55 metres. Notable participants include Edmiston, which plans its largest showcase to date featuring vessels such as the Benetti ALEGRE, the Benetti B. Yond expedition yacht JULES, and the motor yacht SOLIS.

The festival serves as a major conclusion to the Mediterranean charter season. Recent iterations of the event have emphasized a “slow boating” concept, which promotes reduced fuel use, short-leg cruising, and marine environmental protection. This focus has included the showcase of hybrid-electric vessels and significant marina infrastructure upgrades.

For the 2026 event, the sailing category will feature vessels such as the Skaw A, a 12-meter cruising foil scow, the solar-equipped Amel 50.2, the CNB 62, and the Grand Soleil 80 Plus Long Cruise. In the motoryacht sector, major Italian shipyards including Azimut|Benetti Group, Ferretti Group, and Sanlorenzo Group will lead displays in the Vieux Port. Azimut is expected to present world premieres such as the Grande 44M and the Magellano 27M, while Ferretti Group will debut the Custom Line Navetta 35 alongside various Riva and Pershing models. British builders Princess and Sunseeker are also slated for in-water displays.
