Canon installs first Varioprint iX1700 printers in EMEA

Canon Europe has completed the installation of the first two Varioprint iX1700 sheet-fed inkjet printers in the EMEA region. The units were installed at AC medienhaus in Germany and Bookadew in the Netherlands during July and August.

The Varioprint iX1700 is designed for high productivity, capable of producing 170 A4 images per minute. It utilizes high-definition print heads and a new water-based polymer pigment ink set to deliver consistent image quality. The technology allows commercial print service providers to handle a variety of applications internally, such as marketing materials, books, and premium direct marketing, which were previously outsourced.
