Cantabria Parliament to debate education, energy, and postal services

The Parliament of Cantabria is scheduled to hold a plenary session on Monday, September 28, to debate several regional issues. Key topics include the Correos postal service, the Altamira project, and energy policy.

In the education sector, the PSOE will question the government regarding the criteria used for the closure of classrooms and the reduction of teaching positions in the public school system for the 2026/27 academic year. Additionally, Vox will address educational actions taken by the Ministry of Education concerning secondary school students.

Other parliamentary activities include motions from PRC regarding the Altamira project and joint non-legislative proposals from PP and PRC concerning postal services. Vox also plans to interpellate the government on energy supply, electrical transport capacity, and the economic impact of high energy costs on the industrial sector.
