Cantv expands fiber optic services in Bolívar
Cantv has added more than 430 new subscribers to fiber optic services in Bolívar state during August. This expansion is part of a modernization effort using GPON technology to improve telecommunications infrastructure.
The deployment took place across several municipalities, including Caroní, Angostura del Orinoco, Piar, and El Callao. The new connectivity plans offer navigation speeds ranging from 300 megabits to 1 gigabit.
In Caroní, the service reached various communities and residential complexes, including the Venezuela Avanza urbanism. In Ciudad Bolívar, the expansion covered sectors such as El Merecure, La Shell, and Rómulo Gallegos. Additional subscribers were added in the central area of Upata and the La Fábrica sector in El Callao.
