Cao Bang Police issue notices for traffic violations detected by cameras

Cao Bang Provincial Police have issued a notice regarding traffic violations detected via the traffic surveillance camera system between August 5 and August 11. The list includes 49 cases involving motorists failing to obey traffic signals and car drivers exceeding speed limits.

Violators are required to report to the Traffic Police Department in Cao Bang to resolve the matters. If individuals fail to comply, authorities will coordinate with local governments at the owners' places of residence or work to handle the cases. Under Decree 168/2024/ND-CP, effective January 1, 2025, penalties for failing to obey traffic signals include fines ranging from 4 to 6 million VND and a deduction of 4 driver's license points.
