Cao Bang Province Flood Cleanup Mobilizes Residents and Authorities
After the June 26 flooding receded in Cao Bằng province, residents of Thục Phán ward began rapidly clearing homes, removing mud and debris to restore daily life. Over 441 houses and more than 515 hectares of crops were reported damaged, with numerous roads and infrastructure affected. Community volunteers and sanitation crews worked from early morning to collect waste and prevent environmental contamination. The army also assisted, transporting corn, vegetables and personal belongings to safer locations. Local officials emphasized the need for swift cleaning to ensure hygiene and improve access to affected areas.
