Cao Bang specialties showcased in Hanoi to expand market access
Over 100 specialty products from Cao Bang province were showcased in Hanoi from September 11 to 13 as part of the ‘Vitality of Vietnamese Goods’ program. Held at 62 Trang Tien, the event aimed to expand market opportunities for local businesses, cooperatives, and production facilities by connecting them directly with consumers in the capital.
The featured items included a wide variety of agricultural and processed goods, such as Phia Den vermicelli, Quayson chestnuts, Tay honey, and various types of highland noodles. The collection also featured specialty teas, such as Xom Deng purple indigo tea, and traditional handicrafts including Phuc Sen knives and Nung Indigo brocade products.
Tran Huu Linh, Director of the Department of Domestic Market Management under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, noted that the program allows producers to receive direct feedback on consumer preferences and market demand. This interaction helps local entities refine their products and distribution methods. In addition to the physical event, products were also promoted via livestreaming on TikTok to increase digital reach.
