Capcom announces Onimusha: Way of the Sword release date and new trailer

Capcom presented a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword during its Spotlight event, highlighting the boss Dohatsu‑ten and showcasing combat mechanics such as the Break Issen. The game is set in an Edo‑era Kyoto overrun by demonic Genma, with Miyamoto Musashi wielding an Oni glove to battle the foes.

The trailer confirmed a worldwide launch on 25 September for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store and Windows Store), overturning earlier speculation about a 4 September release.
