To enhance immersion, the audio team used a custom S-shaped blade to capture “raw, gritty sword‑clash” sounds. The narrative features Musashi’s rival, Sasaki Ganryu, as a flamboyant antagonist. A new “Severing Fates” trailer showcased corrupted versions of the Yasui Konpiragu shrine and introduced Genma foes such as Daidara and Rasho-gan. Recent updates have provided further technical and narrative details. Gameplay footage for the Nintendo Switch 2 demonstrates performance targeting 30 FPS, with a variable frame rate option between 30 and 40 FPS.
