Capcom confirms Hard Mode for Dragon’s Dogma 2 Dark Arisen expansion

Capcom’s developers for Dragon’s Dogma 2 have confirmed that the upcoming Dark Arisen expansion will include a Hard Mode aimed at players who have reached or are near the level cap. In a Q&A on the game’s Steam page, director Kento Kinoshita and producer Naoto Oyama said the new content – the Forsaken Dominion and Lost Rites – is designed to be more challenging than the base game, with difficulty increasing gradually as players progress.

The team noted recommended starting levels of 40 for Forsaken Dominion and 20 for Lost Rites, emphasizing that these are only initial guidelines and that the balance will be tuned to accommodate a wide range of player skill. No specific release window for Hard Mode was provided, and the developers asked the community to stay tuned for further details.
