Capcom cuts price of Monster Hunter Wilds and rolls out new DLC bundles

Capcom announced a permanent reduction in the retail price of Monster Hunter Wilds, taking effect in early August 2026 (August 3 PT or August 4 UTC depending on region). The company will also retire the Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition and Cosmetic DLC Pass, replacing them with three new bundles: - Gold Edition, which includes the base game and the full Cosmetic DLC Collection; - Cosmetic DLC Collection, containing all ten cosmetic DLC packs, the Festival of Accord packs, the Deluxe Pack and the Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack; - Extras Cosmetic DLC Pack, offering selected paid cosmetic DLC previously sold separately. Capcom said on its official social‑media account, “Hunters, we are streamlining the available options for new and returning hunters joining Monster Hunter Wilds.” No specific discount amount was disclosed. The changes are positioned to lower the entry barrier ahead of the Ascendance expansion slated for 2027.
