Capcom delays Dragon's Dogma 2 major system patch to September
Capcom has announced a slight delay for the major system update for Dragon's Dogma 2. Originally scheduled for late August, the patch is now set to release on September 1 or September 2, depending on the player's time zone.
The update introduces significant changes to core gameplay mechanics, including the addition of two extra skill slots, increasing the total from four to six. This change is intended to provide players with more combat variety and flexibility. Capcom is also implementing a balance overhaul for all vocations and improving AI behavior for both pawns and enemies to create more intelligent combat encounters.
Additional improvements include an increase in the number of available save slots, a user interface overhaul, and new graphical options for console players. This patch serves as preparation for the upcoming Dark Arisen expansion, which is scheduled for release on October 9.
