Capcom releases patch to fix Dragon's Dogma 2 save errors on PS5

Capcom has released update 3.210 for Dragon's Dogma 2 to resolve critical save data issues affecting PlayStation 5 players. The bug, which emerged following Title Update 3.2, caused incorrect timestamps for save data and led to the “Load from Last Saved Data” option loading incorrect progress, such as “Load from Last Inn Rest” or “Start from awakening in the unmoored world.”

The new patch ensures that selecting “Load from Last Saved Data” on the title screen correctly resumes the intended progress and that timestamps display accurately upon the first launch after an update. Capcom noted that for cloud saves, the displayed timestamp reflects the time the data was loaded.

Players who experienced discrepancies in timestamps after the previous update may see these corrected once they perform a new autosave, interim save, or “Last Inn Rest” save. Capcom issued an apology for the inconvenience, noting that if a local save was already overwritten by an autosave and no cloud backup exists, the data may not be recoverable.
