Capcom suspends Street Fighter V sales and online services

Capcom has temporarily suspended sales of Street Fighter V on the PlayStation Store and Steam, while also disabling online services for the PlayStation 4 and PC versions. The company is conducting emergency maintenance to address security vulnerabilities related to the PHP programming language.

As a result of the maintenance, online features such as Ranked Match, Casual Match, Battle Lounge, and the Capcom Fighters Network (CFN) are currently unavailable. However, players who already own the game can continue to access offline content, including Arcade Mode, Story Mode, Local Versus, and Training Mode.

The security measures follow the discovery of critical vulnerabilities in the PHP core, which could potentially allow unauthorized remote code execution. Capcom has not yet provided a specific timeline for when online functionality will be restored or when digital sales will resume.
