Capcom to host playtesting events for Monster Hunter Wilds on Nintendo Switch 2

Capcom has announced upcoming hands-on playtesting events for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of ‘Monster Hunter Wilds’, which is scheduled for release on December 4, 2026. The events will be held at two Capcom-operated locations: CAPCOMIX Abeno Hoop in Osaka and CAPCOMIX Minatomirai in Yokohama.

Participants will be able to choose between two different quests: a beginner-friendly level 4 quest featuring the monster Kematris, and a level 6 quest designed for experienced players featuring Lagiacrus. The playtesting sessions are expected to last approximately 20 minutes per person in handheld mode.

Events are scheduled for October 10–11, 2026, in Osaka, and October 17–18, 2026, in Yokohama. Limited edition stickers will be distributed to participants on a first-come, first-served basis.
