Capital Development Authority reclaims prime land in Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has reclaimed over 1,000 kanal of prime land in Islamabad’s Sector E-12. The land, valued at billions of rupees, had been subject to unresolved status for nearly 40 years.

The recovery operation was conducted following directions from Interior Minister Syed Mohsin Raza Naqvi and led by CDA Chairman and Chief Commissioner Islamabad Sohail Ashraf. The enforcement was supervised by Deputy Director General Enforcement Dr. Anum Fatima.

This reclamation is expected to remove long-standing obstacles to the planned development of Sector E-12, opening opportunities for infrastructure, public amenities, and organized urban expansion in the area.
