CapitaLand Investment (CLI) has announced the development of CapitaLand Data Centre Chennai 01, the first data centre in Tamil Nadu by its listed fund platform, CapitaLand India Trust (CLINT). Located in Ambattur, Chennai, the facility is expected to be completed by the end of 2026 and will provide 53 MW of gross power capacity, including 34 MW of IT power capacity across 13 data halls.

The project involves a planned investment of approximately INR 1,940 crore. The unveiling was conducted by Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong alongside Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C.
