Car fire on Romania's A1 highway near Lupeni, two occupants escape unharmed

A vehicle ignited on the A1 highway heading toward Arad near kilometre 391 in Lupeni, Hunedoara County. The driver stopped on the emergency lane after noticing smoke, and both occupants evacuated before the fire spread. Romanian firefighters from the Deva detachment arrived, extinguished the blaze and cleared the roadway, allowing traffic to resume. No injuries were reported and investigators will determine the cause of the fire.

The incident caused a temporary disruption to traffic but was resolved without further damage.
