Carabinieri Barracks in Caltagirone Welcome 45 Primary School Students

As part of a legal culture campaign run by the Carabinieri together with Italy’s Ministry of Education and Merit, 45 fifth‑grade pupils from the Alessio Narbone primary school in Caltagirone visited the local Carabinieri company this week.

During the tour the children viewed a video on the force’s duties, inspected the radiomobile Alfa Romeo Giulia, handled equipment such as the G.A.P., breathalyzer, pepper spray, tonfa and taser, tried fingerprinting in the SPIS room and observed an emergency call being processed at the operations centre. The visit also featured a demonstration by King, a German‑shepherd drug‑search dog from the Nicolosi canine unit.
