Carabinieri honor citizens in Reggio Calabria with 'Everyday Heroes' celebration

The Carabinieri marked their 212th anniversary on 5 June in Reggio Calabria, holding the first national ceremony outside Rome at the Arena dello Stretto. The event concluded with a special evening on 4 July in Piazza de Nava, titled “Everyday Heroes, under the stars”. The program featured the presentation of the book *Radici di mafia* by General Giuseppe Governale, a dialogue with journalist Francesco Verderami, and a concert by the Brass Band of the Francesco Cilea Conservatory. The celebrations involved students, families, cultural groups, and local institutions, highlighting the daily work of the Carabinieri in serving and protecting the community.
