Carabinieri Legione Sicily hosts solidarity lunch for vulnerable residents in Palermo

The Carabinieri Legione "Sicilia" in Palermo opened its facilities for a day of solidarity and social inclusion, serving a lunch to about fifty people living in poverty. The event began with the arrival of Archbishop Gualtiero Isacchi of Monreale, who was welcomed by Division General Ubaldo Del Monaco and Military Chaplain Don Salvatore Falzone. The Archbishop was escorted on a tour of the historic Santa Maria Maddalena church within the Carlo Alberto dalla Chiesa barracks.

The lunch was organized at the request of Camillo Alessi, President of the ANAP Confartigianato Palermo, and featured participation from Giovanni Rafti, Secretary of Confartigianato Imprese Palermo, and Don Pino Vitrano, co‑founder of the Missione Speranza e Carità. Provincial Commander Brigadier General Luciano Magrini and other officers also attended. Guests included beneficiaries of the "Casa del Sorriso" of Monreale and the Missione Speranza e Carità of Palermo, who expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality.
