Caracas: Two missing after motorcycle swept into drainage by floodwaters

Two people, a woman and a minor, are missing after being swept into a drainage system near the Monumental Stadium in Caracas. The incident occurred when a motorcycle carrying three people skidded due to rising river levels caused by heavy rainfall. While the driver managed to stay safe, the other two occupants were pulled into a storm drain by the current.

Civil Protection and emergency services have launched search and rescue operations to locate the missing individuals. Authorities have issued warnings to the public to exercise extreme caution when operating motorcycles during periods of intense precipitation.
