The Carbon Markets Africa Summit (CMAS) 2026 is scheduled to take place in Kigali from October 13 to 15. The event has confirmed participation from 45 countries globally, including 24 African nations.
The summit aims to connect African policymakers and project developers with international investors, buyers, and financiers. Expected attendees include more than 100 speakers, over 50 investors and financiers, and representatives from 20 African governments.
Participants will focus on various sectors, including nature-based solutions, agriculture, waste management, clean cooking, and carbon removals. Dedicated investor roundtables are planned to facilitate direct engagement between capital providers and project developers to explore financing options and commercial partnerships.
