Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson likens project to Anthropic and warns US Democrats will block crypto CLARITY Act

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson said the blockchain platform’s development approach resembles that of AI company Anthropic, arguing that moving slowly and focusing on quality can be advantageous after early market leaders have already emerged. He highlighted Anthropic’s success despite entering the AI field later than Google and OpenAI, and applied the same logic to Cardano’s continued, deliberate progress.

Hoskinson also warned that in the United States the CLARITY Act, a bill intended to define digital assets as securities or commodities, is likely to be defeated by Democrats. He warned that crypto is becoming a partisan issue tied to former President Donald Trump, and that the loss of bipartisan support could stall the creation of a stable regulatory framework for the industry.
