Carl Thomas and Case set for VERZUZ R&B battle

R&B Verzuz battle Carl Thomas Case music competition

R&B singers Carl Thomas and Case are scheduled to compete in a VERZUZ battle on Thursday, October 22. The event is set to begin at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET and will be streamed live via Apple Music, Complex, and official VERZUZ channels.

The matchup features two artists prominent during the late 1990s and early 2000s. Carl Thomas, known for his work with Bad Boy Records and his platinum debut album ‘Emotional’, will bring hits such as ‘I Wish’ and ‘Summer Rain’ to the competition. Case will draw from a catalog that includes ‘Touch Me, Tease Me’, ‘Happily Ever After’, and his Billboard R&B number one hit ‘Missing You’.

The event follows a recent trend of veteran R&B artists participating in the platform, such as the August matchup between Joe and Donell Jones.
