Carlos José Troche Rodríguez surrenders after fatal Santo Domingo accident

The Dominican Republic's National Police confirmed that Carlos José Troche Rodríguez has surrendered to authorities following a fatal traffic accident on Avenue Lincoln. Troche Rodríguez is identified as the person allegedly driving the vehicle involved in a collision with a motorcycle during the early hours of August 15.

The accident resulted in the deaths of Wilmer Rodríguez and his daughter, Wilkaren Rodríguez, 21, while a third person was injured. Police spokesperson Diego Pesqueira stated that the investigation is ongoing to determine the exact circumstances and responsibilities of the incident. While some have linked the individual to the nickname ‘Nino Dólar’, authorities stated they have no official record of such a moniker.
