Morena aspirants tour Michoacán, Sinaloa, urging local dialogue

Several Morena leaders are conducting territorial tours across Michoacán and Sinaloa to meet residents and promote the party’s development agenda. Carlos Torres Piña, a candidate for state coordination of the Defence of Transformation and Sovereignty, held press events in Zamora, La Piedad and Taximácuaro, stressing that “the most important alliance must always be with the people” and calling for unity behind President Claudia Sheinbaum. He highlighted agriculture and livestock as key growth levers for the Bajío region and urged defence of national sovereignty against right‑wing attacks.

Rodolfo Valenzuela, another aspirant, visited Concordia, Rosario and Mazatlán in Sinaloa, emphasizing dialogue with citizens, job creation for youth and the need to combat misinformation. Alfonso Sánchez García participated in a reforestation activity with the “Sembrando Vida” group in Tlaxcala, linking environmental work to the broader transformation agenda. Gabriela Molina reminded supporters of her 25‑year presence in Michoacán, pledging continued grassroots engagement.

Even opposition figures such as PAN deputy Roxana Rubio Valdez toured Navolato, Sinaloa, listening to merchants and proposing measures to boost the local economy. The combined visits reflect a broader political effort to strengthen community ties ahead of upcoming internal Morena selections and future elections.
