Carly Rae Jepsen announces double album ‘Day and Night’

Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen has released ‘After All’, the final preview single ahead of her upcoming 24-track double album, ‘Day and Night’. Scheduled for release on September 18 through Interscope Records and Schoolboy, the album is structured into two distinct halves: ‘Day’, which features organic, folk, and psychedelic pop influences, and ‘Night’, which focuses on darker, electronic sounds such as French house and synth-pop.

The new music reflects significant personal transitions in Jepsen’s life, including her marriage to producer Cole M. G. N. and her experience becoming a mother. ‘After All’, co-written with Kyle Shearer and Nate Cyphert, explores themes of motherhood, identity, and shifting perspectives. The accompanying music video, directed by Aerin Moreno, utilizes nostalgic, home-video style imagery to complement the song’s introspective tone.
