Carly Rae Jepsen's double album debuts on Canadian charts

Canadian pop artist Carly Rae Jepsen has released her new double album, ‘Day and Night’, which debuted at No. 59 on the Billboard Canadian Albums chart. The project is her longest to date, featuring 24 tracks and spanning over 100 minutes.

The album is structured in two distinct halves: the first 12 tracks lean into a dream pop and folk-inspired sound, while the latter half focuses on club-ready pop. Jepsen noted that the separation of ‘day’ and ‘night’ helped her find cohesion in the creative process.

As part of the release, Jepsen launched the single ‘After All’, a personal track exploring themes of identity and life changes. The song was written alongside collaborators Kyle Shearer and Nate Cyphert, with Shearer also serving as producer.
