Carnival Cruise Line launches Carnival Rewards loyalty programme
Carnival Cruise Line has launched Carnival Rewards, a new loyalty programme designed to reward guests through cruise purchases and everyday spending. The system utilizes two distinct currencies: Carnival Rewards Points and Status Qualifying Stars.
Carnival Rewards Points can be earned on eligible purchases, such as cruises, spa treatments, shore excursions, and gratuities, and can be redeemed for future cruises and onboard experiences. Status Qualifying Stars are used to determine a guest’s loyalty level. The programme features four status tiers: Red (at enrollment), Gold (10,000 stars), Platinum (50,000 stars), and Diamond (100,000 stars).
In addition to the points and status system, the company introduced a Milestone Recognition Programme that celebrates guests based on the total number of days they have sailed, with recognition starting at 50 days. The inaugural qualifying period for status is set to run from 1 September 2026 through 31 December 2028.
