Carnival Cruise Line opens bookings for new Carnival Tropicale ship

Carnival Cruise Line has opened reservations for its newest vessel, the Carnival Tropicale, which is scheduled to begin maiden voyages from Galveston, Texas, in April 2028. As the fifth and final ship in the Excel-class series, the vessel is designed to accommodate over 6,000 passengers.

The ship’s itineraries include four-to-eight-day cruises visiting destinations such as the Bahamas, Mexico, and Honduras. Specific stops mentioned include Cozumel, Progreso, Nassau, and Roatan, as well as Carnival’s private islands, Celebration Key and Half Moon Cay.

Onboard features include the Grand Central Atrium, Sunsation Point, and the Carnival WaterWorks Ultra water park. The ship’s design is intended to draw inspiration from the golden era of Las Vegas show business and tropical scenery.
