American journalist Caro Claire Burke’s debut novel “Bons Tempos: Yesteryear”—a satirical time‑travel romance that mocks the “tradwives” influencer movement—has become a bestseller in the United States, selling about one million copies within three months and appearing on The New York Times list and the BookTok charts.

The Brazilian edition, published by Rocco, is scheduled for release on 31 August 2026. The translation, overseen by Anna Castro, will be priced at R$ 69.90 and runs 368 pages. Amazon MGM Studios has acquired the film‑adaptation rights, with Anne Hathaway confirmed as both star and producer of the upcoming movie.

The book’s narrative follows Natalie, a social‑media persona who portrays an idealised traditional household, only to awaken in 1855 without modern comforts, forcing her to confront the stark realities behind the curated online image.
