Carola Häggkvist releases autobiography

Swedish singer Carola Häggkvist has released her first autobiography, titled ‘Jag är Carola’. The book covers her upbringing and life up until 2002, offering her own perspective on her history.

In the book, she mentions having been subjected to psychological abuse, though she does not provide specific details. She stated to TT that she does not view herself as a victim and is focused on her own freedom.

To support the book release, Häggkvist will embark on an extensive North tour this autumn alongside pianist Will Oaks. The tour will include over 30 concerts across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands, featuring a mix of her major hits and songs that have shaped her life.
