Carolina Moisés secures leadership of Jujuy's Justicialist Party

The electoral authority of the Justicialist Party in Jujuy has officially recognized the ‘Generación Valiente’ list, led by Senator Carolina Moisés and headed by former national deputy Carlos de Aparici. This decision, formalized through Resolution No. 22/2026, effectively excludes the ‘Celeste y Blanca’ candidacy promoted by former provincial president Rubén Rivarola.

The electoral board determined that Rivarola’s list failed to meet the minimum requirements established by the party’s Organic Charter and Electoral Regulations. The ruling noted that between July 30 and August 11, the Rivarola faction attempted over 300 alterations, including candidate substitutions and reconfigurations, which the board characterized as an attempt to reconstruct an electoral proposal after the deadline had expired.

Senator Moisés has previously maintained political independence, distancing herself from La Cámpora and expressing criticism toward former President Cristina Kirchner.
